THE VINDICATION PLATES 

As a 2022 British Council Venice Research Fellow I spent a month in Venice in September 2022 and created a set of 20 handmade plates, glazed in Venetian colours.  Each plate was decorated by a different artist visiting the 2022 Venice Biennale. The plates reflect the artists relationship with the non-human world. They have been used for shared meals where artists, scientists and other collaborators can exchange ideas and discuss our relationship to the natural (non-human) world.
